Congratulations to King’s Junior Voices for its recent performance of Mahler’s 3rd Symphony with the Cambridge Philharmonic. Latest news is that we have received our first Cambridge Music Partnership grant in order for our older children to have a singing group of their own.

It has been a fun month or so with some wonderful concerts. The highlight was singing in the Monteverdi Choir‘s 50th anniversary performance of The Monteverdi Vespers in King’s College Chapel alongside my choristers from the Choir of King’s College Cambridge.
Happy New Year! I’m looking forward to working on lots of new repertoire including Mahler 3rd Symphony (Chorus Mastering KJV for Cambridge Philharmonic Orchestra), preparing a duet recital of Bel Canto arias & duets with soprano Philippa Boyle, and revising Boulez’s ‘Cummings ist der Dichter’ for 16 solo voices with the BBC Singers.
This Sunday I will be conducting King’s Junior Voices as guest of Prime Brass and Junior Prime Brass at West Rd Concert Hall, Cambridge at 3.30pm and 5.30pm.
