King’s College Choir’s Australian Adventure

‘superbly polished vocal sound’

I have just spent a fun few weeks in Australia with the Choir of King’s College Cambridge. I am a very proud singing teacher and enjoyed seeing the enthusiastic response of Australian audiences>

Other reviews included…….. on Britten’s Hymn to St Cecilia
‘most impressive of all, perhaps, was the treble’s solo ‘O dear white children’ where the purity of sound made it particularly affecting’.

Limelight Magazine said of the Britten ‘The substantial treble solo was handled with a terrific sense of line and the radiant solos on “O weep child weep” and “wear your tribulation like a rose” showed a maturity of musical expression rare in such young singers’.

Thanks to MusicaViva for looking after us so well.
