Carols from King’s & Queen’s Speech

So proud of my choristers at King’s College Cambridge today. What a wonderful 100th Nine Lessons and Carols! Pupils singing solo on radio/TV and on The Queen’s Speech.

Here’s a link to a very special TV programme, Carols from King’s. Happy Christmas!

A new life as a freelancer

After 24 years as a staff alto at the wonderful BBC Singers I have decided to go freelance to explore new musical possibilities. I look forward to having the time and freedom to accept more opera, oratorio and recital work and will continue as a BBC Singers ad hoc and will join ENO as a member of their Extra Chorus

I spent a wonderful final weekend as staff at the BBC in a joint production with English National Opera performing Elgar’s The Dream of Gerontius at the Royal Festival Hall.
